Best Part of Our Wedding
We debated about hiring a DJ with the band, but after your incredible performance, we actually thought that would have detracted from the energy you created. People wouldn’t have stayed if we’d hired a DJ. We were so happy that you played the newer songs we liked, and were surprised and amazed by how well you rapped. The Michael Benson Band was beyond fantastic! In the weeks leading up to our wedding Michael himself was very attentive to our music choices and even learned three or four new songs just for our wedding. He was by far (a) the easiest vendor to work with, (b) provided the most entertainment and (c) put great care into the product he delivers: FUN! Not only did he provide great music for ALL of the ceremony, cocktail/dinner hour and dancing, he also handled our MC needs professionally and speedily; keeping things moving when needed. I really cannot say enough about him and his band. Everyone that attended our wedding absolutely loved his voice, his energy and musical range.

Keeping It Simple
Our first inclination in this world of technology was to keep things simple (read: free) by using an iPod for our reception. Luckily, it dawned on us, with enough time to book the Michael Benson Band, that while the whole night would be wonderful for us, the dance was really what our guests were looking forward to! The Michael Benson Band certainly didn’t disappoint! Their music created an amazing energy without any awkward pauses between songs. We’d never seen a band with such a wide repertoire, performed as well as the original artists themselves! For this very reason we saw folks out on the dance floor that normally are camped out on the sidelines. It was hard to tear ourselves away from it all to visit with our guests! If you’re considering hiring a DJ or going the iPod route, think again! You won’t regret hiring these guys!
